Time to take a break
The previous financial year was a crazy time for everyone, where bad news seemed to be the main news and media played havoc with everyone’s emotions. However, with the new financial year things are looking brighter and the emotional roller coaster ride has now slowed down to your average, thrilling motorcycle ride.
The Z Team decided to hold another client appreciation event but this time the main purpose of the event was to enjoy a stolen moment in time to relax, get together and enjoy each others’ company. Although Canberra weather was as fickle as ever (freezing, drizzling, possibly snowing?), clients still braved the weather to join the Z Team for the event held on Wednesday, 26 August 2009 at the ZA Wealth Creation office. It was a great opportunity for clients and the Z team alike to unwind after a long day with a great crowd of people, excellent wine, sparkling juices and delicious canapés prepared by the Z team themselves. Kim did a fantastic job of preparing most of the canapés and the highlight was Zuraida’s ‘Moonblush tomatoes’.
This year, special guest Geoff Martin (from Matrix) joined in on the celebrations. The Z Team were happy to have Geoff there as it is a rare moment to have a representative from a dealer group, a financial planning team and investors brought together in celebration. Short speeches were made by all the team members and Geoff who highlighted the relationship between Matrix and ZA Wealth Creation.
We received very positive feedback from clients, who enjoy having the opportunity to meet with the Z Team and other clients in a relaxed setting. It is also an opportunity for everyone one in the team to learn more about clients and their families and reinforce the idea that we care about our clients. We plan to continue with these functions becauseit helps strengthen relationships, brings a sense of camaraderie and gives people a chance to just kick back and enjoy themselves.
