I am grateful for the recognition by esteemed peers for my achievements in financial planning. I won INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR award and the OVERALL IFA EXCELLENCE award on the 7th of September 2018 at the Australian independent financial advice (IFA) awards evening.
These two awards endorse my approach and philosophy on goal setting and planning a secure financial future for clients. Generally, when new clients come to see me they can verbalise the future lifestyle they desire but they do not know the dollar amount necessary to achieve this nor how to formulate a specific and measurable strategy to reach their goals. My mission is to translate these intentions into tangible strategies/timelines with specific measurable steps. I can monitor the progress of my clients through reports communicated monthly in real time.
I also wish to dedicate these awards to my clients who share their lives, hopes, desires, concerns and anxieties with me. The recognition I received from the national IFA EXCELLENCE AWARDS demonstrate how strategic advice positively impacts people’s lives and financial well-being.
The awards validate the strategies and processes I have built at Zuraida Ariffin Wealth Creation. This is reflected in the results achieved for my clients as highlighted by the real-life case studies, testimonials and reports presented in my submission to win the awards.
Looking ahead, I want to continue to demystify financial planning and wealth creation for new clients so that they become engaged in the process. My aim is to improve the client experience through effective client engagement and forward planning methods using the human touch with technology-driven solutions.
I am happy to share my ethical approach and skills with others so that the community and regulators recognise the value of advice. Together we can raise the collective awareness of the public that there are many positive financial planning stories that show what a difference we can make to people’s lives although these stories are not reported in the general media.
